Head to the square with the same name as the "Piazza San Gennaro" church, just a short distance from the main road. Before you visit the church, take a moment to admire the stunning panorama. This square is a great starting point for reaching Gavitella beach, where you can enjoy spectacular views and sunbathe until sunset. You can get there on foot through the charming streets and many steps (approximately 400). Marina di Praia is a beach with crystal clear water and white pebbles. It is situated on the other side of Praiano, along State Road 163, past the Church of San Gennaro. The beach is known for its picturesque setting with fishermen's boats and excellent restaurants. Unlike Gavitella beach, Marina di Praia gets fewer hours of sunshine, which can be an advantage during hot summer days. A natural cove is accessible via a panoramic staircase of 413 steps. Thanks to its privileged west-facing position, the beach is always bathed in sunlight and is the only place on the entire coast where the sunset directly plunges into the sea, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
